HarsheysHarsheys is a Discord bot operated by Harsh Kohli and hosted at harshkohli.com. Questions about these terms go to send@harshkohli.com.
1. The service
Harsheys plays one hosted station, Lofi 24/7 by Harsheys. /play joins your voice channel and starts that stream. The bot stays until someone runs /stop, including when the channel is empty. It does not take song requests and it does not play files you upload.
The bot and this website are operated by Harsh Kohli at harshkohli.com.
2. Agreement
By inviting the bot, using a slash command, or listening in a channel where it is playing, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, remove the bot from your server and stop using it.
You must also follow the Discord Terms of Service and Discord Community Guidelines, because the bot is used inside Discord.
3. Who may use it
You may use the bot only if you are allowed to use Discord. A person who invites the bot confirms they have permission to add applications to that server and to connect it to a voice channel.
4. How playback works
/play and /join start the station. /pause and /resume keep the bot in the channel. /volume sets the level from 0 to 200. /reconnect restarts the audio without leaving. /np shows the station. /status and /ping show connection details.
If a DJ role is configured for the bot, only that role, plus Manage Channels and Administrator, can start, stop, pause, change volume, or reconnect. Otherwise anyone in the server can. The bot needs Connect and Speak in the voice channel. On a channel below 128 kbps it lowers the Opus bitrate so Discord will carry the audio.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- spam commands or reconnects, or try to overload the bot;
- break, probe, or bypass the bot or Discord, except through a report to Harsh Kohli;
- use the bot to harass, threaten, or play it into a channel where it is not welcome;
- resell access to the bot.
Harsh Kohli may ignore abusive commands or stop offering the bot in a server that breaks these terms.
6. Servers and administrators
Server managers control which voice channels the bot may join by using Discord's own permissions. They can also disconnect or kick the bot. The station itself is chosen by Harsh Kohli. Managers cannot queue other audio through this bot.
Command replies can be seen by people who can see the channel, except ephemeral errors.
7. Availability
Playback depends on Discord voice and on the station remaining reachable at harshkohli.com. Audio can drop, a voice region can fail, and the bot can restart. The bot is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or that every channel will hear it at the same quality.
Harsh Kohli may update, pause, or shut down the bot. A restart makes the bot rejoin the same voice channel and start playing again. /stop is what makes it leave.
8. The station and the website
The station, the bot, and this website are operated by Harsh Kohli. You do not receive a license to rehost the stream or to copy the bot. These pages may be linked, including from Discord's application settings.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The bot and these pages are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, Harsh Kohli disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, Harsh Kohli is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost audio, lost time, or server disputes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. Continuing to use the bot after an update means you accept the new terms.
